After releasing the behind the scenes ‘get ready with me’ style video yesterday, a new video has been released!
In this one you can watch Chapter 13 perform Distraction live at their most recent gig, The Grace. As much as it sucked that old videos of their live performances were taken down, it is great that they are starting to release professional quality videos of their newer performances.
The behind the scenes video from The Grace show in London has been released! Watch it right here.
You’ll get to see the whole build up to their recent show, and see exactly what happens as the band prepare for their first live in person gig for over two years.
Chapter 13 have been teasing photos and videos of their latest as-of-yet untitled video project. All they will confirm so far is that it is not a music video. The most popular opinion at the moment is that it will be a longer performance video – hopefully of songs from the entire album?
It looks very stylised, and seems to be based around a house party theme. I have very cleverly put that together since all the photos I have seen are from in and around a house. It looks like a fun time with many people… house party.
They’ve shared a clip of Tom singing Ordinary People on a couch in an orange Chapter 13 branded jump suit (amazing merch opportunity by the way). They have also released a shot clip of Looks Like You’re Having Fun [ both clips are embedded below – go to read more to see them ]
There will be some pictures added to the site soon, some you may have seen and some that maybe you haven’t [ nothing from HeartbreakTakeaway will be shared publicly here since that would break their rules ]
The band have uploaded a vlog of how they spent their single release/World Suicide Prevention Day.
crazy day at tower bridge on World Suicide Prevention Day last month fighting for such an important cause where change is needed. it’s obvious that we didn’t really have a clue what we were doing and everything seemed to go wrong at times but at least we tried.
massive thank you to the fans who showed up and helped us pull it together in the end. was amazing to see how well you all stood up for what you believed in when the police arrived 🖤

If you need the lyrics to sing along, you’re covered! Get the Ordinary People lyrics here. Yeah that was phrased in a clunky way specifically to hit SEO keywords with that link. You got me 🙂
Here is the caption from their new video, you can watch it below:
ORDINARY PEOPLE live on the hrtbrktkwy tour during lockdown in April. come and see us perform it in person at London, Oslo on Halloween
Chapter 13 have released their first ever music video! I know, they’ve posted tracks over videos of them performing before, but it isn’t quite the same. Don’t forget to pre save the song so you can listen as soon as its released on World Suicide Prevention Day.
You can get the > Harder To Pretend lyrics < if you need them. I'll post the statement released with the video below.

Chapter 13 have teased a clip from a 2019 recording of Looks Like You’re Having Fun. It seems like they recorded a whole music video for it that they never released!
Going by the caption, they will be releasing more than just this clip shortly. Though it may be exclusive to members of heartbreaktakeaway.com. We will have to wait and see. Here is the caption:
little clip of looks like you’re havin fun from 2019 🖤
do you wanna hear more of it?
wanted you to hear it before you hear the new version
That title might seem cryptic but if it makes no sense yet, it will in a minute.
First off, the band released a clip of a new song Sunshine Avenue (listen below). Some of the lyrics are here but will be incomplete until a longer version is released.
We have a little more info on tickets for the virtual tour, they will be going on sale this Saturday at 9am GMT. No word on the cost or where they can be purchased from but that will be announced in the coming days.
If you try to go to HeartbreakTakeaway.com right now you will hit a ‘down for maintenance’ page. It may be that they are updating the site so we can buy tickets there. Read more to see the maintenance page and watch the clip of Sunshine Avenue. Continue reading “Sunshine Avenue and Streaming Passes”
