Tom had a live chat and someone has kindly posted the video 🙂
In this chat Tom mentions the Coronavirus. He says Noah is a bit concerned, because he is a hypochondriac. Don’t worry he doesn’t stay on that subject for long, I’m sure you’re all tired of hearing it.
He also teases that there are a lot of exciting things coming up -but he can’t announce anything yet! He later mentioned that he hopes the band will perform in the US soon. May or may not be related. I’m hoping for an album tbh…
Tom also chats about sports he likes (liked) playing. But you might as well watch the video rather than have me describe it to you. Here is the full live chat:
No I am not talking about the game. I am on about one of the videos Jake posted to his instagram where he does an incredible cover of the Beat It solo -originally written & performed by the absolute legend Eddie Van Halen!
I love the song choice and the execution! If you haven’t heard it yet, check out the video below. What do you guys think??
Dingwalls feels like a distant memory now -unfortunately! While we wait for news of more gigs, you can pass the time replaying videos of the show. I recommend the video below, where they premiered a brand new song called Jump.
(the song starts 55 seconds in)
Did you get to see them perform live at Dingwalls? What was the best song they played, in your opinion?
Leave a comment on whether you liked the song. Do you know all of the lyrics yet -or could you hear them over the crowd?
The band have been teasing a lot about the new youtube videos they have on the way. They posted a short clip a couple of weeks ago of what looks like a cook-off, and then the picture (left) of them dressed up as super heroes.
Have you got any ideas of what the new videos could be?
The boys have all celebrated the new year by adding their 2009 vs 2019 photos. It’s crazy to see how much they’ve changed -but then ten years is a long time.
Have you seen these pics yet? Who do you think has changed the most, and who still looks exactly the same?
In case you are having any trouble, Noah is the portrait-orientated photo with his face right up in the camera. Jacob is in a field for some reason -a common theme in Chapter 13 photos. Jake shows how has graduated from playing some sort of bag to a guitar. And Tom grew two more arms in 2019… or maybe those are somebody else’s.
I’m sure everybody has heard about this, and have your tickets already, but just in case…
Chapter 13 are having their first gig of 2020 at Dingwalls, London on the 6th of February! You can buy tickets here! The age restriction is 14+, but if you’re under 16 you need an adult with you. It’s a Thursday night, the doors open at 7PM and the show starts at 8PM. Thursday might be awkward for anyone who has a long way to travel, but if you’re in London you’re sorted -it’s NW1.
The tickets are general admission and £17.10 each. I think that’s pretty much all the info you need.
Here is a week-old video Chapter 13 posted on their youtube channel promoting it:
It seemed about time that Chapter 13 had a proper site for fans! The most built out parts of this site are the lyrics section and band member facts. Next on the list will be adding photos and more detail in the ‘About the Band’ page.
What else should be on here? If you want to help or can think of anything it needs, leave a comment!
